Sergeants’ Mess

Details

Sergeants’ Mess is renovated and revitalised in a style that pays subtle homage to the simple glamour of the 1960’s. It is understated and contemporary in its appearance, using quality materials and finishes to frame the magnificent views.

The original Sergeants Mess building was built in 1963 as part of the Georges Heights Australian Military Army Base and was used by officers for meals, socialising and accommodation. Today the venue has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and refurbishment, and has become a purpose-built event venue that offers a unique combination of breathtaking views; opulent, state-of-the-art design; extensive facilities and world-class dining — all set in native bushland on the foreshore of magnificent Sydney Harbour.

Whether it’s a cocktail party for 350, a gala banquet for 250, a theatre-style breakfast presentation for 170 or a private board meeting for 10, the venue provides a range of spaces and configurations that all boast the latest audio visual technology, including wireless internet, wide screen projectors, plasma screens and surround sound.
