Karisma were contracted back in 2009 to commence work on the completed refurbishment project. The areas where all the detailed joinery was manufactured are

The main gaming floor:

1/ all the illuminated Marblo columns all manufactured in the factory then pulled down & re- installed onsite.

2/ all the timber veneer wall panelling, high level wall cornices, Reception & information counters Main area doors & portals were made of a man made veneer from NAV and finished with 30% clear finish. All the stone tops were Carrara marble.

Cherry Bar:

The centre bar & rear bottle display are Illuminated Marblo Stone top to the servery with a leather arm rest. All banquette seats were special designed for the Cherry bar & upholstered in fabric.

The Rock lily Bar:

All the joinery was made with a spotted gum timber then finished with a stain a lacquer to protect its natural beauty. The Chesterfield lounges were also specially made with the same spotted gum solid timber & leather buttoned upholstered seat cushions & backs. The 2 TV’s above the bar were made at the factory to replicate old style TV boxes, but the internals are all of the latest technology.

After the contract works were completed Karisma were contracted directly by the Star casino to do works in many of the other area within the Casino, such as The exclusive Level 17 were all the wall panels & joinery are made of Teak & finished with a Hi gloss piano finish lacquer. The Sovereign room were all the wall panels are Diamond shaped buttoned leather.

Karisma was also contracted by The Star to re-design the different gaming tables into a better designed table to meet the needs of its patrons & Staff. The table are constantly being improved so that both Patrons & staff have the latest technology & design.
